I am a member of Dr. Gregg Henriques’ Theory of Knowledge Society group and I have recently been in discussions with Gregg and other members about the unity of the social sciences. Gregg has already put together a pretty good unifying theory of psychology, which is explained in a series of videos and other educational materials that are available on the website https://www.unifiedtheoryofknowledge.org/. We had a Meetup event to discuss that a few months ago. For this event, we’ll discuss the possibility that the social sciences could be unified in some way that would show how sociology, anthropology, politics, and economics are all related and that there would probably be some truth to a variety of theories and frameworks including classical economics, civilization developmental theory, Marxism, etc. Just as Gregg’s UTOK showed how there is some truth to Freud, Skinner, and others that would otherwise seem to be at odds with each other, I think we could also do this for the social sciences.
