Presenting the 25th fabulous year of the Darwin Day Birthday Gala, Sacramento’s coolest, most singular, most go-to event of science and humanity, brought to you by area science advocates, civic groups and nerds on too much coffee. An online event marking Charles Darwin’s 213rd birthday. Open to all, but registration required. (Please register now at the Paybee link below.)
Ah, Darwin Day. A science-rush like no other, a celebration of scientific inquiry honoring of the life and work of the great Charles Darwin (b. 12 February 1809), sponsored worldwide by community and educational groups. Because science! And what’s science but reason in the trenches?
The 2022 program will begin at 2:30 o’clock post meridiem (PST). This year you can attend from the cozy comfort and lockdown safety of your home. The key speaker will be Dr. Eric A. Attendance will be via online Video for the safety of all. No special software needed to attend, just go to the link before the program starts, enter your name & email address, and enjoy.
