The Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that celebrates life.
Instead of a service in March, we’ll be discussing the future of Sunday Assembly Sacramento. We need several volunteers to join the Board of Trustees, help with marketing, and build our community.
If you want to see Sunday Assembly continue, please attend.
9:30 – Volunteer Arrival
10:30 – Doors Open
11:00 – Meeting
12:15 – Potluck and Social Hour
What is Sunday Assembly?
Our events are 75 minutes of inspirational talks, music (mostly 80s and 90s pop hits), poetry and art, donuts and coffee, and more, followed by an optional potluck.
We are radically inclusive – everyone is welcome, regardless of their beliefs (or lack thereof), their sexual orientation, their age, gender, or politics.
Our events are free for all to attend, though donations are appreciated.
Childcare is provided for potty-trained youth ages 2 and up, though we expect older children will have a blast at the regular service.
Our Motto: To live better, help often, and wonder more.
And It’s a Potluck!
Stay after the service and have lunch with your fellow Sunday Assembly goers. Bring a dish to share — just make sure your dish will be waiting about an hour until we dig in.
We’ll cover drinks, napkins, plates, and plastic ware.
Reason Center is committed to the promotion of critical thinking and secular values. In partnership with other secular groups and organizations, it hosts knowledgeable and engaging speakers discussing a wide range of related topics.
