We will be supporting the local organization “Sacramento Blankets for Sacramento Kids” with a service project at Reason Center… making blankets!

SBSK’s volunteers create blankets that are given to children in need across the county, serving organizations like WEAVE, the homeless community, immigrants, and more.

On Sunday, people of all ages can help make blankets in groups of four. We’ll supply the materials, you cut and tie. This is a great activity — even for those with little skill in arts and crafts.

If you have fabric scissors, please bring them… but don’t worry if you don’t — we’ll have extras and plenty of fabric.

Please arrive between 2:00 and 2:15 PM for an introduction to the activity. Your RSVP is requested so that we can purchase enough material in advance for everyone.

Water will be provided.
